Pregnancy PReparedness Program Graduate
When I found out I was pregnant, I was over the moon! But then the anxious thoughts and pesky symptoms began trickling in. "What am I supposed to do/not do to stay healthy?" "How do I manage my life and work when I'm so just so tired all the time?" "How do I manage all these symptoms?" By the time I was near the end of my first trimester, I was just sucking it up and counting down the days.
Don't get me wrong, some days were good and I felt like I could keep going, but other days I couldn’t wait until the day (or night) was over because that meant I was one step closer to the end of my pregnancy and feeling crappy. I was consumed by my fatigue, anxiety, and extreme bloating and constipation. I so badly wanted to just enjoy the growing of my baby inside of me, like I saw in commercials for baby products.
I tried everything I learned from friends and family, doctors, and the internet. Some of the tips worked for a while but then either the symptoms came back or I couldn’t stay consistent enough. I realized this wasn’t the way pregnancy was intended to be and I had to do something different.
That is when I deep dived into the latest research as well as ancient texts. I got certified as a prenatal and postnatal coach, prenatal yoga teacher, and reiki healer. I combined many ancient but relevant practices with today's science to create a comprehensive program to guide women through pregnancy in a way that empowers them and makes them feel amazing.
Because this chapter of a woman's life is deeply tranformational.... and short. So why not make the most of it while we can?
